The Women Who Changed the World

The Women Who Changed the World is a participatory performance workshop for Year 6 girls who are transitioning to secondary school. The project has been devised and performed by the second year Applied Drama Students from University of Wales Trinity St David, Swansea. The students have been working with our Community Arts Worker, Alys Byrne, to explore inspirational women, both present and throughout history who have fought against all odds to achieve great things, which in turn has positively impacted the lives of women and girls today.
The workshops will tour schools in Swansea and Bridgend during May and will involve, inspire and motivate participates to aim high and dream big to create their own individual stories.
For further information on the project please contact Alys on 01656 729246 or email:[email protected]
